Professional Experience

I work on outreach and development efforts. Please contact me if you would like to receive our quarterly newsletter or have interest in volunteering with CCB! I also put extensive time into managing the Center's expansive data resources & providing research support, since joining the staff in Fall 2005.

My background is in coastal marine ecology and outdoor experiential education, in several non-profits. Before living in Virginia, I was the internship coordinator and an environmental educator for a non-profit on Long Island Sound. I led canoe trips, hikes, and taught and designed outdoor and classroom curricula on preserving ecosystems and conserving resources. My interests include wilderness medicine, wetlands restoration, and invasive species mitigation.
