The skills that applicants should possess vary with projects, but may include bird identification by sight and sound, radio telemetry, bird trapping and handling, bird banding, data management, etc. Regardless of the project, all applicants should be quick learners, work independently, keep accurate field records, and maintain a good attitude under difficult field conditions.
